About This artwork-
Once you get into the far north of WA the landscape is a contrast of red rocks, torquoise seas and white sand beaches. Summer is so hot that the respite of a dip in the sea is sometimes the only thing you long for. The Pilbara is such a place of amazing landscapes and this painting felt like the essence of it with a lonely tree clinging to the red earth.
